This is my zombie which was created using various photoshop techniques to transform a normal student into frightening zombie.
This is the zombie that I created using many different photoshop tools and techniques. I was given an image of a student and used photoshop to transform this normal student into zombie which could be seen in a horror film. The tools that I used were the magnetic lasso tool, the dodge and burn tool, and the pencil brush. The magnetic lasso tool was used to remove the student from the background, the dodge and burn tool was used to cause changes in the skin tone and change the color of her hair, and the pencil brush was used to change the color of her eyes. I also used the effects, filter gallery, pattern overlay, and liquify. I used filter gallery to create cracks in her skin, I used pattern overlay to create texture in her hands, and I used liquify on the letters of her jacket. The purpose of this project was to show off our newly learned skills in Photoshop and show that we understand the different aspects of Photoshop. I enjoyed using Photoshop and the skills I learned will be useful in the future. The techniques that we learned can be used in different classes like English where we would be able to illustrate scenes from the books that we are reading to help ourselves with the imagery of the text.
