This is my creature named Pineapple Head and it was created using various photos of fruits and vegetables.
My creature's name is Pineapple Head and it was created using different photos of fruits and vegetables and it was put together using the Marquee Tool, Move Tool, Lasso Tool, and Magic Wand Tool of Photoshop. To create the creature, we had to first isolate the fruit or vegetable from the background and then put the fruit and vegetables in a creative way as to create an image of a creative creature. The purpose of creating this creature was to show off our newly learned skills using the Marquee Tool, Move Tool, Lasso Tool, and Magic Wand Tool. I felt this project allowed me to clearly understand the tools of Photoshop and it allowed me to use the tools in a creative project. The techniques that we learned in Photoshop can also be used in school. One of the classes that we would be able to use it is in Biology where we would be able to use Photoshop to create genetically modified organisms which do not exist in real life. We would be able to do this by taking a certain trait from one animal and using Photoshop to put the trait on another animal. Creating the creature was a great way to start our adventure of learning in digital media.
